Admission is contingent upon scholastic records, an entrance examination, and parish involvement. Saint Joseph School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, nationality or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational or admissions policies or any school administered program.
In general, students are selected on the basis of ability to work in a particular grade level (and the level of each class at SJS) as shown in a test of general subjects, and availability of space in that room.
Children entering the first grade must be five years of age on or before December 1st of that year. They must demonstrate readiness for Kindergarten.
