FUNDRAISING

Tuition payments alone do not suffice to financially support the school and cooperation of all is expected in fund-raising projects. Families are asked to be generous in participating beyond the minimum requirements. Priority will be given to to all school-sponsored projects before the various grades or organizations.

PTC

The PTC Board Members and Chairpersons act in an advisory capacity to the school and provide both financial help as well as auxiliary and enrichment services to the school. Mandatory meetings are scheduled for parents during the year. Attending these meetings are an important part of contributing service hours and provide vital financial information and communication between the school and parents.

DONATIONS

Gift card donations are always welcome and help provide the needed supplies in our office. Remember a gift card donation of $25 is equal to 5 service hours. Gift cards from Office Max, Staples, Target and Smart & Final help our school office, kitchen and faculty room. Gift cards from Barnes & Noble or Best Buy can help maintain our classroom libraries and computer lab.

ANNUAL AUCTION NIGHT

Every year Saint Joseph School hosts an Annual Auction Night at the Industry Hills Expo Center - "The Pavilion" in the City of Industry. This is our largest annual fundraiser and it is important that families partcipate so it will be a successful night. A special committee gathers together to plan, organize and prepare. Tasks include selling advertising space, seeking sponsors, acquiring gift donations for a live auction and preparing gift baskets for a silent auction. It is mandatory that every family participate by giving donations or working at the event. It's also a time for parents, friends and alumni to gather together and enjoy an evening out.

GIFTS IN KIND

Every gift counts! Would you like to donate your time, trade skills or donate office supplies? Would you like to build new shelves for our teachers, landscape our garden in the front entry way or help us maintain our building by working on different maintenance projects? We can always use a hand maintaining our school and we welcome new ideas that will help make our campus a pleasant environment for our students, teachers and visitors. MATCHING GIFTS

Does your employer match charitable giving? Contact your employer to see if they participate in a program that will match a donation given to our schol or ask if they are interested in a pledge amount towards a technology, art, science or music program at our school.
